Polar Plunge

On Saturday, March 28 several men from Iowa Sigma participated in the annual Polar Plunge at Lake Ahquabi, just south of Indianola. The event is held as a fundraiser for the Iowa Special Olympics and the SAE team raised nearly $600 for the cause. On the morning of the event, the guys raced through the freezing lake, dressed up in costumes. The temperature that morning was around 30 degrees and there were flurries of snow.

Campus Day

The men of Iowa Sigma participated in the annual Simpson College tradition of Campus Day on April 1. The guys headed north on Highway 65/69 to clean trash off the sides of road. This portion of the highway was adopted by Iowa Sigma several years ago. Later that day, a celebration was held in honor of Sally's 33rd year as the house cook. Several alumni were in attendance.
