On Saturday, March 28 several men from Iowa Sigma participated in the annual Polar Plunge at Lake Ahquabi, just south of Indianola. The event is held as a fundraiser for the Iowa Special Olympics and the SAE team raised nearly $600 for the cause. On the morning of the event, the guys raced through the freezing lake, dressed up in costumes. The temperature that morning was around 30 degrees and there were flurries of snow.
